A pair of bride and groom bisque Kewpie Dolls with movable arms on stands. Kewpie dolls were conceived by cartoonist Rose O'Neill and were first produced in Germany as bisque figurines around 1912. The outfit is a formal black suit or tuxedo, which is a common style for "groom" or "ring bearer" themed Kewpies. the bride has a decorated sewn dress.
This doll is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs.
