This an antique, ornate porcelain serving dish or tray, likely dating from the late 19th century, which features a hand-painted scene of a waterfall.    The dish has a distinctive scalloped, oval shape with handles on both end. The primary colors are a deep cobalt blue and white, accented by extensive raised gold gilding in floral and scroll patterns. A central, hand-painted vignette depicts a waterfall scene, possibly Niagara Falls, which was a popular subject for such decorative items.
