This is a pair of vintage McKee Glass Company "Bottoms Up" shot glasses in a green color. Original glasses were made in the early 1930s during or just after the Prohibition era.

These are sought-after collectible items known for their unique design, featuring a hidden nude female figure on a shot glass that cannot be set down on the bar.  The green color is often referred to as "jadeite" or "Skokie Green".

It is made of vaseline glass, which is a type of transparent, yellow-green glassware containing uranium dioxide, giving it a distinctive glow under ultraviolet (black) light, named for its resemblance to petroleum jelly; it was popular in the late 19th/early 20th centuries, is safe for display, and is collected for its unique color and fluorescence.

Identification: Authentic originals can often be identified by the patent number "77725" in raised lettering between the nude's feet and the glass rim.  These items do have very small numbers in this spot.

Measures:   3" high by 2.25" wide by 2.25" deep

Condition:   Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
