An antique Victorian pickle castor with a 4.5" gold colored clear glass jar insert and an ornate silver-plate metal base decorated with two girls holding the jar, a separate silver-plate metal lid, and an attached decorated metal handle. Plus, matching metal tongs. the glass jar has a dimple pattern.

Pickle castors were popular in the late 19th century as ornate serving pieces for pickles and other condiments, symbolizing elegant dining and status. 

Measures:   10" high by 4" wide by 4" deep

Condition:   Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
