An antique Victorian pickle castor with a 5" clear cranberry colored glass jar insert and silver-plated frame and tongs. Pickle castors were popular in the late 19th century as ornate serving pieces for pickles and other condiments, symbolizing elegant dining and status.  The glass jar has a white enamel floral pattern. The elaborate metal stand and the included serving tongs are silver-plated.

Measures:   12" high by 5" wide by 4" deep

Condition:   Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
