Exceptionally pretty, this item is an antique, hand-painted porcelain hatpin holder.  It was designed to safely store long hatpins, which were a common women's accessory in the 19th and early 20th centuries. 

It features a white or cream background with delicate, hand-painted pink and white roses with green leaves.  It's base bears a mark from The "PK fine china manufacturer in Silesia" which refers to the Porzellanfabrik Königszelt AG factory, located in Königszelt, Silesia (which is now Jaworzyna Śląska, Poland).

Measures: 5" high by 3" wide by 3" deep

Condition:   Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
