This item is a hand-painted porcelain small vase, likely produced in the Late 19th to early 20th century of fine porcelain, known for its translucency and durability. The piece has a distinctive shape with vertical ribbing, a wavy or scalloped opening, and hand-painted floral decoration. The gold gilt trim on the rim is characteristic of the era. It was used by my grandmother as a toothpick holder.
