This is an antique R.S. Prussia porcelain bowl with a six-sided raised center.  This specific style often features a ruffled or scalloped edge and hand-painted floral decorations, such as the pink and white roses seen here. It can be identified by the "R.S. Prussia" red wreath and star mark on the bottom. These bowls were produced in various sizes and were often used as berry bowls, candy dishes, or relish dishes. 

These pieces were manufactured in Germany by Reinhold Schlegelmilch from the late 1800s to the beginning of World War I. 

Measures:   3" high by 9" wide by 9" deep

Condition:   Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
