The image displays an antique R.S. Prussia scuttle shaving mug. This specific type of mug was used to create and maintain warm shaving lather.   It is likely from the late 19th or early 20th century.  The mug is made of porcelain and features hand-painted rose floral decoration with a blue hue background with gold accents and an ornate handle and a opening for a lathering brush. It also has a mirror on the side, a common feature for these items.  It also has a cork stopper in the bottom of the mug. The design is in an Art Nouveau style. 

R.S. Prussia porcelain was manufactured by Reinhold Schlegelmilch's factory in Suhl, Germany, from the late 1800s until the beginning of World War I. 

Measures:   4" high by 5" wide by 3" deep

Condition:   Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
