The image is of an antique Victorian art glass vase that is made of cased glass (opaque white with an inner pink layer) with applied amber glass decorations, such as the red glass cherries, leaves and ruffled clear amber colored rim.  The glass is often described as "custard" or "vaseline" glass because it can glow under a black light due to the inclusion of uranium in the glass mixture
