This Victorian metal receipt holder is both functional and decorative and is from the late 1800s – earlier 1900s. The receipt spikes or also once known as a doc spike or ticket stabber were often seen in general stores, diners or restaurants.


Condition: Used, good, functional and decorative. Spike itself is strong in base.


Measurement: A 4.5” inch vertical spike attached to a raised, 1.75” square metal base with an embossed design.
