An antique 1.75" Snow Baby figurine. These figurines, typically German in origin from before World War I, are made from biscuit porcelain (bisque) and are decorated with crushed bisque to resemble snowflakes.  This one depicts a child in a light blue snowsuit with black boots and a hat that has the signature textured "snow" effect.  It is seated on a sled with a hand painted face.  These items were popular Christmas or winter-themed collectibles, often used as decorations or cake toppers.

Condition: .Very good - No chips or cracks. Some snowflakes are missing on the back of the hat. The snow on the hat is now a very light brown in color
